Making Pipes
- Add a plane
- In edit mode delete vertices and keep 1
- Model the shape of your pipe by extruding
- Select all vertices and choose CMD+SHIFT+B (Bevel)
- Switch to Object Mode
- Right Click and choose convert to curve
- In the Object Data panel on the right, change the round - depth under Bevel
- Increase resolution as needed
- Convert back to mesh
Voila, there you have your pipe
Make a hose
- Add Curve -> Path
- Go to Object Data tab -> Geometry
- Add rounding Depth under Bevel
- Go into edit mode and move the vertices to shape the hose
- E to extrude longer hose
Make a hole in a mesh
- Add cylinder in the mesh where you want the hole
- Select the mesh that needs to get the hole
- Select Boolean from the modifiers menu
- Select in the Boolean modifier the cylinder you placed
- Apply the modifier and move the cylinder away
Make a grid (diagonal)
- Add a plane
- Go into edit mode
- Subdivide into 10 cuts
- Add a Subdivision Surface modifier and
- Increase to 2 levels and choose Simple
- Add a Decimate modifier
- Choose Un-Subdivide and increase Iterations to 1
- Add a Wireframe modifier
